The current EU Food Hygiene Regulation obliges every company that manufactures, handles, processes, prepares, stores, transports, distributes or places food on the market to identify, monitor and document the work stages that are critical for food safety throughout the entire process and to define and implement appropriate safety measures.
In order to protect hygiene-sensitive areas from contamination, effective, tamper-proof access controls must therefore be used for personnel access. Such measures are often a particular challenge for operators due to their sometimes high level of complexity.
This is because the greatest possible decision-making security is essential in order to meet all requirements correctly. This can only be achieved if all parameters and necessities are discussed in advance and can ultimately be taken into account during further implementation.
