Foundation of KOHLHOFF
Uwe Kohlhoff founded his company around 45 years ago with the aim of always developing, manufacturing and selling reliable and stable stainless steel products.
Start of production
The development and production of complex hygiene technology devices, systems and machines, which began in the early 1990s, owes its rapid success in particular to the direct dialog with customers and authorities regarding the functionality and approval of our products. With this ongoing intensive exchange, our ideas and means of production as well as the know-how we have acquired, we have developed into a leading international company for personal and industrial hygiene technology.
New production plant
Our new production facility, which was built in 2017 and features largely automated and partly robot-controlled production systems, provides the ideal conditions for our company’s continued promising development. Here we produce our wide range of hygiene technology for a variety of applications and requirements on a total floor space of around 5,000 m². Thanks to our continued high level of flexibility, we are able to realize individually requested or industry-specific designs or equipment.
Innovative concepts & solutions
Today, our many years of experience as well as innovative concepts and solutions offer companies in a wide range of industries a benefit that goes beyond the pure function of our products. This means ensuring that their hygiene-sensitive production and operating areas are not contaminated by viruses, bacteria and germs transmitted by humans. This is an aspect that has gained and will continue to gain in importance, not least due to the coronavirus pandemic. After all, hygienic production conditions and a high level of product safety are fundamental success factors for establishing a long-term presence on global markets. This is one of the reasons why global food producers are increasingly relying on our consulting and planning expertise and our products.
