The mechanical entry control device MDK 400 is used in areas of food processing plants where the flow of personnel must be ensured in one direction only. The turnstile is therefore unlocked in the direction of movement and permanently blocked in the opposite direction. As an option, the entry control device is also available in a partially electric version. This means that it can be connected by means of a potential-free contact, e.g. to a data terminal, and only opens when it is released by the contact.
